This Holster and Gun Belt sold for $77,675.  One of two styles of holsters can be made to go with the belt. Either the traditional or one with a visible skirt. This unique non suede belt tapers down to a laced on 1 1/2″ tongue. The clipped corner rectangular nickel buckle is sewn on with gunfighter stitch. Our adaptation of the original ~ $324.95. The 1948 buckle and pant belt are an additional $124.95.

HH -13 D ~ SHOOTIST

SHOOTIST

SHOOTIST

In Dukes last western, he wore a non typical rig from his other movies. The holster is lined and has the trigger guard exposed. When disassembled, you will find that this is a two piece holster with the shaft separate from the skirt. In our version, we have an insert between the layers like the movie, resulting in a firm holster that is lightning to draw from. The belt loop will fit over a 2″ belt unless specified. The unlined belt, like the movie, is 2″ wide and tapers down to 1 3/4″. It has an identical nickel, square cornered buckle that is a replica of the correct North & Judd anchor style worn in the movie. This is a complex holster to make and takes more time than others to construct. This design has been researched  in great detail, using an identical holster and belt in our collection made during the same mid 1970′s time period as the one in the movie. During the research process we also discussed the design features and modifications with folks that have seen the original. Quote: ” I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a-hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” Our adaptation of the holster, belt and buckle  ~ $349.95.

HHM7VT – MAGNIFICENT SEVEN Vin Tanner Gunfighter - “We Deal in Lead Friend”

MAC QUEEN

MAC QUEEN

This top western came out in 1960 and was a remake of the 1956 Japanese film “Seven Samurai.” In the American movie, seven gunfighters are hired to clear Banditos from a poor Mexican village. The two main characters are Vin Tanner and Chris Larabee. Vin’s rig was the best. It was made by Andy Anderson who also made Blondie’s rig in “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” The holster is toe forward carried on a straight belt with gunfighter stitching and no notch to hold the holster in place, or bullet loops. The buckle is a (D) shaped heel bar buckle. A friend in Hollywood, whose grandfather made saddles for the movies, was gracious enough to share the original holster pattern with us . The holster shaft has special stiffeners added. Holster, belt with no bullet loops, and buckle ~ $474.95. For bullet loops add $1 per loop.

ASD ~ A SECOND TO DIE

A SECOND TO DIE

A SECOND TO DIE

In 1968 one of the very best spaghetti westerns ever made came out with Clay McCord in the main role as an outlaw trying to get amnesty in old New Mexico. Some of the finest cowboy shoot outs ever staged take place in this film. Clay’s holster was made by Anderson and his gun belt was made on site. The holster is toe forward with a skirt and buckle strap, worn very high on the belt. Gunfighter stitching covers the gun belt and continues onto the tongue. In typical Anderson style there are several bullet loops on both the tongue and buckle ends. Clay uses two gorgeous Colts in this movie. One with checkered walnut grips and the other with genuine mother of pearl. If you want the ultimate fast draw rig, this one is for you. Fully lined holster and gun belt ~ $499.95

Frank plays the evil gun man working for the rail road. His lithe gunfighter grace is almost a ballet as he shoots his way through town. His 5 1/2″ rig is toe forward with a buckle strap. His belt buckle is the typical Anderson hammered solid brass style. This rig has full bullet loops in the back and several on both the tongue and buckle ends. We have been fortunate enough to obtain a very early copy of this pattern and are now able to offer it to you. This holster can be made with normal firmness or with a stiffener between the layers for an even more firm shaft at an additional cost. lined holster and unlined gun belt with full floral tooling ~ $499.95. VJD ~ VIRGINIAN

(Photo Pending) Our adaptation of the toe forward, lined, rough out leather rig worn for so many years on TV. Few fans know that his Colt SAA had the grip frame replaced with a (D) guard Dragoon brass frame giving him  a better hand hold.
